I was in total agreement on Satellite….just wish they hadn’t switched syrups. I preferred when they used Monin syrups to any of the more recent options they’ve tried. Also, I did have a bad latte there…it is possible even at the best establishments. I think if they could drop the ‘tude a bit, I’d still be one of their biggest fans. How come we can’t have a place with great service AND amazing coffee…why is this SO much to ask. Oh well! This is a step in the right direction for certain. I’ll take it! I got a bit spoiled by all the great options in Seattle. Even though I’m a Starbucks partner…I still secretly LOVE Pete’s Coffee. I cannot tell a lie! Shhhh….don’t tell! Not only is their coffee good, I’m in love with their blueberry danishes. It was love at first bite!

Also – nice job on the Steinbeck – I have the general impression that he was a bit of a tortured pessimist, no?
What’s next on the list to read? Mountains Beyond Mountains? I thought so.
In any case, don’t leave out the coffee reviews! Although…I understand if Starbucks has hooked you… ;)

Yeahhh – Day 1 was officially a great adventure — evil wizards and witches, fairy tale bits, random prizes that can be carried everywhere (trident?), and of course, the creators couldn’t leave out an antique shop! Looking forward to day 2 :)
