Coffee shops are interesting. I’ve been in tons, and each has their own way of doing things when it comes to making coffee, or more specifically espresso. I’ve been searching for a long time here it Tacoma, WA for a great espresso. Seattle has it’s Zoka and Cafe Vivace, while Olympia has Batdorf and Bronsen and even Portland has it’s Stumptown Roasters. If the rest of the Northwest has good coffee, where is Tacoma’s good coffee, and the people who know how to prepare it? Here’s my collected quest in Tacoma, and other places in Washington for a truly good espresso.
